Fortress of Masada built by Herod the Great
March 05, 2017Masada Fortress in Israel is on the eastern edge of the Judean Desert. This ancient stone fortress in Israel which is located around 400 meters above the Dead Sea. This fortress has now been preserved and renovated by the Israel government. The Masada Fortress was also declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the year 2001.
